I wake up and i'm scared from a bad dream but then i hear the tv going downstairs and i know my dad is home and has fallen asleep in front of the tv and that i am safe.
Then i wake up for real and it is completely silent.

yes having "D" IN your corner would always be a plus ..your dreams are krisp an clear ..an theres a tv playing loud downstairs .. strangly comforting an its not always a dream
i think he will always be there to comfort the three of you kids. i also think he is in all our hearts and his memory livens all our spirits when we need him too....

That's what I was thinking - maybe his spirit was really down there watching tv to comfort you after a bad dream....
