the light of the new year

i was shoveling my driveway on the first day of this new year when I noticed my outdoor motion lights, that have been defunct for the past 3 years, seemed to be all lit up...I thought, it must be the sun hitting them in a certain way and went inside to throw the switch...sure enough, they went out. So, now my outdoor lights mysteriously work again, on new years day of all days... after all that destruction, I can't help but think this is a good sign for the new year...bring it on, i am ready!
