sanchez and the dog
Sanchez was taking a nap in the Sugar Creek parking lot one day after having tied one on with his buddy Jeffery (who had long since disappeared on Sanchez's old Schwinn bicycle) when he was awakened by a startlingly heavy gallop on his extended belly. Sanchez opened his frightened eyes and came face to face with his new best friend. He didnt know right then that the dog would be his new best friend, in fact he threw the dog off of him and started down the sidewalk towards the city. Darned if that old fool dog didnt follow him. Even when Sanchez yelled at him to leave him alone, the dog simply wagged his tail and lick Sanchez's hand. That night, Sanchez bedded down for the night under a picnic table chained to a tree. The dog waited until Sanchez was a sleep and curled up next to him and fell asleep.

Favor From Fox
Foxy is taking his bird neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Teedles, for a little ride to the store for snacks. They'd fly but they can carry more bags of sunflower seeds this way and what the heck, Foxy offered. They might even pick up a few grapes and surprise Foxy in the parking lot with them. They're just plain neighborly that way.

Totam Poles
My last class and we made totem poles, which became a competition of who could add the most "layers"...what a great bunch of kids, and even though they all try to copy one another, their creations are each uniquely their own. My favorite quote comes from Devin:
"I have no idea what you just said. You know we're just little kids!"

The Owl Family
Father is a bit tired after taking the owlettes out for a little stroll through the neighborhood. Jinky saw a mean ole cat and got REALLY scared while BeeBee is just plain out of it (actually, she's considering moving to the next forest down, for this really cute boy named Cubby and she's trying to come up with a way to tell Father).

Small Talk
New painting what do you think? I'm venturing into the Atomic Age. I totally love this era's color pallet.
This is titled Small Talk, and if you are good at reading birdspeak, you'll know that there will likely be snow falling this evening...
These particular fellows can be found in the sweatshop that is Ebay. Just search PULVER ART, should come right up.

The Party
OK, it was Barnia's birthday, she's the big owl right? OK, so Barnia's two best friends, Joey Lewis and NeeNee, came to Barnia's party ready for some fun, right? Well, lo and behold... no one even THOUGHT about any of the snacks anyone might be hungry for. Eventually, the entire party was ruined by party food starvation. A bag of fake popcorn could have saved the whole day. For some reason, NeeNee thought this was great adventure.
